Hey everyone!!!

So as i sit here in the airport i figure maybe i should update y’all on how training camp was. Let me tell you I’ve had a lot of processing time. (Only 9 hours….and counting sitting in the airport LOL) I’ve learned that flexibility is a big part of ministry. You have to be ready to sit in the airport for a number of hours before getting on a plane. You also have to be ready to move and change things up in a hurry. As i sit here and think about the words that have impacted me most on this trip i sit and laugh because it’s sort of funny. All of you who have seen the chronicles of Narnia will laugh (i think)!!!!

Here is the quote “He is not safe but He is good” this is what the beaver says about the lion in the movie. This quote is a reference to God. God is not safe He is dangerous and reckless and self sacrificing. But he is tender and loving and is so very faithful. I realized this was the type of lifestyle i want to live. Gods plans are not always safe, but they are good and they will build the kingdom. Take the world race for instance, God didn’t call me on this trip because it’s a safe option or because it’s easy. He has asked me to step out in faith and boldness and trust that even though this doesn’t feel comfortable or safe that this is what is going to build kingdom and relationship and love. He is not safe but He will protect us when we boldly step out in our calling. Another thing i have learned is “I was born to be loved” not only by my family or friends but by my amazing father who created me in my mothers womb. He who knew my unformed body created me to be known and loved. Just as he has created you to be known and loved. Your are LOVED by your Heavenly Father.

I have also met my squad and my team within my squad and yall they are AMAZING. I am so thrilled to spend the next year of my life with these people. They were sent down here specifically to be apart of my life and this race and i am HONORED. I cannot wait to grow with this group of individuals. We are going to go through so much life together it’s crazy. Please keep us in your prayers! It’ll be tough and we are all jumping face first into our calling. I’m so blessed and honored to get to learn from every single member on my team and I’m thanking God for all of them stepping out in faith for this mission to build the kingdom.

One last thing i have learned on this trip that truly sank into my spirit is that I walk with AUTHORITY to cast of demons in Jesus name, and so do you! God has defeated the enemy and we have all power to declare him to leave. That is including fear, anxiety, depression, judgment, anger, lust, negative thoughts on yourself and so so so much more. If you ask in Jesus name for your demon to leave it HAS TO GO YALL. In Matthew 18:18 Jesus says “truly i tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven“ this means when we bind a spirit out Holy Spirit is in ya from heaven bonding out that spirit on our behalf. We have authority to no longer live enslaved to our demons. They may come back and it may be frustrating but keep casting them out Because one day you will wake up and realize you have slain that demon for good and you never have to live in that again.

I am going to finish off this blog by telling you all my first location!!!!! YAY!!!! My first stop is Medellin, Columbia. We will be working at a homeless shelter called Ciudad Refugio. We will be going to town and passing out for and drinks to men and woman struggling with homelessness and also addictions. This city has a major drug epidemic and we will be going and helping people out of this and trying to get them to come have community and food with us at the shelter. I am so excited to see what God does in this city. I cannot wait to get to share this experience with yall and let you know what God does. Stay tuned!!!!

With love,

Hannah
