Merry Christmas to you all!

This Christmas I want to share a little bit of my heart. The truth of this Christmas season is hope, reconciliation and redemption. Jesus was born to bring these three things and so much more. I have had more hope on my life these past four months that Jesus had come to save me and reconcile me and redeem me. The life I live I live by faith that God sent his one and only son to reconcile and redeem ME, Hannah Kraus. I am learning this is personal. Jesus came for me! He saw the life I would live, he saw the mistakes I would make, he saw the way that I would sometimes turn my back to him and he came anyway.

There is hope in this life with Jesus. I do not have to worry about a thing because no matter what, Jesus has me. Even to death, Jesus has me. I do not have to fear even death you guys because no matter what I win. Either I stay on this earth and continue to share the good news, or I die and go up to heaven and spend forever worshiping the good Lord who created me and saw purpose in me. He counted me as worthy.

Do you know this is all for you too? JESUS SEES YOU AND ALL YOU HAVE DONE… AND CAME TO SAVE YOU STILL. GUYS, THIS IS LITERAL GOOD NEWS. He loves you because he loves you. It’s nothing that you did but he came to earth as a baby, the most vulnerable state, being God, SHOWED UP AS A BABY IN A MANGER. Jesus was born in a stable. How much humility did that take? Our KING born in a manger became nothing but a servant to those around him and then died on the cross as our Savior to reconcile us back to our original position with God. That we may walk in authority with Him just as Adam and Eve did in the garden. We now have right standing with God because Jesus blotted out our sin. That is good news for us and we get to live an eternity with Him.

Below I will attach scripture that goes along with what I am about to say. I believe there is eternity in heaven and that comes with choosing Jesus and believing this truth that I speak of and believe with my whole heart. I also believe not all of the world will accept him and this truth. I ask you to ponder this during this Christmas season, is the life you live a life for Christ? Do you say you believe in him and actually follow him? The purpose of Christmas is to celebrate the one who came to save. It is a celebration of a life that was laid down for us so that we may be reconciled with our Father in heaven.

I hope these questions stir in your head and in your heart this season. I hope you hear from God the truth of this life we live. I live a life of hope and though there is times that I know I do wrong, I am grateful for my Savior who never turned his back on me even when I have turned my back on him. A Savior that is kind and gentle and radical and like no one I have ever met before.

I love you all so much. I appreciate your support and your love. Please feel free to ask me questions, reach out to me about ANYTHING.

All the way from Guatemala I wish you a very Merry Christmas and happy new year! Squeeze your family tight this year and remember to thank the good Lord for the gift he is and the gift your family is.

With all my love and grace,

Hannah

Scripture

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

John 14:6

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Romans 3:23-25

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 5:8-11

but God showed his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Romans 10:9

because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift from God, not a result of works so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
